Since 1997, Southport Bank has been helping people save money, borrow money, and in many other ways, make the most of their money. By serving each customer, one at a time, to the best of our ability, we've grown to become the largest bank based in Kenosha and one of Wisconsin's fastest growing community banks.
Southport Bank was founded with the commitment to building a relationship with the people and the community that we serve. Part of the Southport Bank mission statement is “supporting our community, by promoting the long-term success of our community as well as our bank”. We have maintained a strong commitment to contributing 2% of our earnings back to our community. Proof of that commitment can be seen by our involvement in the service organizations and community groups that we support. To view some of the groups that have benefited, please review the following lists.
You can make a difference in Kenosha too. There are many organizations that need volunteers. For more information visit this web site: http://www.volunteersolutions.org/kenosha/volunteer/.
At this year's Kenosha County Fair, Southport Bank purchased the Grand Champion Steer from Jordan Daniels, and along with that purchase we also purchased three hogs and an additional steer. The meat and processing of the animals were donated to four Kenosha non-profit organizations. The Shalom Center, Kenosha Visiting Nurse Association, Kenosha Achievement Center, and St. Joseph 's High School benefited from the donation. Just another way Southport Bank shows its commitment "In the Community".

Southport Bank participates annually in the United Way of Kenosha County Campaign.
In 2007, over 70% of our employees participated in our bank’s giving campaign contributing over $16,300. In total, our organization gave nearly $24,000 in funding to the United Way last year with a match from the bank. As many other organizations have reduced their campaign giving, Southport Bank’s contributions remained constant giving 1.5% more this year than in 2006.

This year, our ship The S. S. Southport, set sail on the United Way Tour with Southport Bank's
very own Fearless Crew aboard…Skipper Susie, Movie Star Althea, Gilligan Linda, Professor Beth, Mary Ann Sam, Frank the millionaire and his wife Mrs. Judi.
As a service to our community, Southport Bank proudly offered FREE COMMUNITY SHRED DAYS as a way to help citizens of Kenosha County protect their identity. The FREE Community Shred Days were held October 27th and November 10th at Southport Bank’s Main Office location, 7027 Green Bay Road in Kenosha. This offer was open to the public allowing each person to bring three bags of documents to shred. A licensed document shredding service, Abraham’s On-Site Shredding provided Documentation Destruction Certificates.
