BounceGuard™ Overdraft Privilege
BounceGuard™ is a non-contractual courtesy service provided by Southport Bank that will cover overdrafts up to $750* (subject to type of account). To be qualified for this service, your account must be maintained in good standing. You may “opt-out” of the BounceGuard™ service at any time. BounceGuard™ is free unless you use it. If the BounceGuard™ service is utilized, standard overdraft fees will apply.
With BounceGuard™ we've got you covered if you:
- Find your checking account running a little thin right before payday
- Make an occasional mistake in your checkbook

*We will not authorize payment of overdrafts initiated by an ATM or Debit card unless you have provided the bank with an “Opt-in” notification. If you have not notified the bank to authorize and pay ATM or debit card transactions, your transaction will be declined when there are not sufficient funds in your account at the time of the transaction authorization.
